The Landgasthof

Landgasthof Meisel is one of Kalchreuth’s oldest buildings. The inn’s tradition traces back to a “Schenkstatt” (tavern) of the Haller patrician family. In 1884, Johann Georg Meisel acquired the property. In 2026, Yvonne Linder took it over.

A nice detail: Albrecht Dürer’s watercolor “Dorf Kalkrewt” (around 1500) already shows the property.
