Across from the inn stands the old Forst House: seven double rooms and three single rooms, quietly set in a house that has stood here since 1759. We also have more rooms right above the inn.

The historic Forester’s House — known locally as the “Wolkenschloss” — has 7 double rooms and 3 single rooms.
Guest House
On the other side of the street, above the inn, you’ll find another 18 rooms for overnight guests.

Our comfortable rooms give you the quiet and space to properly rest. You can choose between different room categories, as well as smoking and non-smoking rooms.
Breakfast
Start the day right.
From Tuesday to Friday, enjoy our breakfast buffet — homemade, with regional products.
On the weekend and Mondays, when our kitchen takes a break, our overnight guests can request a voucher for the Kalchreuth village bakery — redeemable at any of their branches.

Is the booking binding?
Yes. You’ll receive a confirmation by email. Free cancellation until 6:00 p.m. one week before arrival — after that, your booking is charged on a sliding scale depending on the cancellation date.
What payment methods do you accept?
Debit card and credit card, bank transfer, and cash at check-out. Online, you only provide your details to secure the booking.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is possible between 2:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. If you’d like to arrive later, please give the hotel a call. Outside these times, check-in cannot be guaranteed. Check-out is by 11:00 a.m.
Can I bring my pet?
Dogs and cats are welcome in selected rooms (extra fees apply). Please note this in the “comments” field — we’ll send a quick confirmation.
Is there Wi-Fi?
Yes, wireless internet is available in all rooms of both the forester’s house and the inn.
Is breakfast available?
You can add a breakfast buffet with regional specialties to your booking.
