III. Information about data processing
Your data processed when using our website will be deleted or blocked as soon as the purpose of storage no longer applies, statutory retention obligations do not prevent erasure, and no other information on individual processing procedures is provided below.
Server data
For technical reasons, in particular to ensure a secure and stable website, data is transmitted by your internet browser to us or to our web space provider. With these so-called server log files, the type and version of your internet browser, the operating system, the website from which you switched to our website (referrer URL), the website(s) of our website that you visit, the date and time of the respective access, and the IP address of the internet connection from which our website is used are collected, among other things.
The data collected in this way is temporarily stored, but not together with any other data from you.
This storage takes place on the legal basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the improvement, stability, functionality and security of our website.
The data is deleted again after seven days at the latest, unless further retention is required for evidentiary purposes. Otherwise, the data is exempt from deletion in whole or in part until an incident has been finally clarified.
Cookies
a) Session cookies
We use so-called cookies on our website. Cookies are small text files or other storage technologies that are stored on your end device by the internet browser you use. Through these cookies, certain information about you is processed to an individual extent, such as your browser or location data or your IP address.
This processing makes our website more user-friendly, effective and secure, as the processing, for example, enables our website to be displayed in different languages or to offer a shopping cart function.
The legal basis for this processing is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, provided that these cookies process data for the initiation or execution of a contract.
If the processing does not serve the initiation or execution of a contract, our legitimate interest lies in improving the functionality of our website. The legal basis in this case is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
These session cookies are deleted when you close your internet browser.
b) Third-party cookies
If applicable, cookies from partner companies with which we cooperate for the purpose of advertising, analysis or the functionalities of our website are also used on our website.
For details, in particular on the purposes and legal bases for processing such third-party cookies, please refer to the information below.
c) Option to remove
You can prevent or restrict the installation of cookies by adjusting your internet browser settings. You can also delete already stored cookies at any time. However, the steps and measures required for this depend on the specific internet browser you use. If you have any questions, please use the help function or documentation of your internet browser or contact its manufacturer or support. With so-called Flash cookies, however, the processing cannot be prevented via the browser settings. Instead, you must change the settings of your Flash Player. The steps and measures required for this also depend on the specific Flash Player you use. If you have any questions, please also use the help function or documentation of your Flash Player or contact the manufacturer or user support.
However, if you prevent or restrict the installation of cookies, this may mean that not all functions of our website can be used to their full extent.
Contact enquiries / contact options
If you contact us via the contact form or email, the data you provide will be used to process your enquiry. The provision of data is necessary for processing and answering your enquiry – without it, we cannot answer your enquiry or can only do so to a limited extent.
The legal basis for this processing is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
Your data will be deleted once your enquiry has been finally answered and statutory retention obligations do not prevent erasure, for example in the event of any subsequent contract execution.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics on our website. This is a web analysis service of Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA, hereinafter referred to as “Google”.
Through certification under the EU-US Privacy Shield
https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt000000001L5AAI&status=Active
Google guarantees that EU data protection requirements are also met when processing data in the USA.
The Google Analytics service is used to analyse the usage behaviour of our website. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the analysis, optimisation and economic operation of our website.
Usage and user-related information, such as IP address, location, time or frequency of visits to our website, is transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, we use Google Analytics with the so-called anonymisation function. With this function, Google shortens the IP address already within the EU or EEA.
The data collected in this way is used by Google to provide us with an evaluation of visits to our website and of the usage activities there. This data can also be used to provide further services related to the use of our website and the use of the internet.
Google states that it does not link your IP address with other data. In addition, Google provides further data protection information at
https://www.google.com/intl/de/policies/privacy/partners
including options for preventing the use of data.
In addition, Google offers a so-called deactivation add-on along with further information at
https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de
This add-on can be installed with the common internet browsers and offers you further control over the data that Google collects when you access our website. The add-on informs the JavaScript (ga.js) of Google Analytics that information about visits to our website should not be transmitted to Google Analytics. However, this does not prevent information from being transmitted to us or to other web analysis services. Whether and which other web analysis services we use can of course also be found in this privacy policy.
Google Maps
We use Google Maps on our website to display our location and to create directions. This is a service provided by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA, hereinafter referred to as “Google”.
Through certification under the EU-US Privacy Shield
https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt000000001L5AAI&status=Active
Google guarantees that EU data protection requirements are also met when processing data in the USA.
To enable the display of certain fonts on our website, a connection to the Google server in the USA is established when our website is accessed.
If you access the Google Maps component integrated into our website, Google stores a cookie on your end device via your internet browser. In order to display our location and create directions, your user settings and data are processed. We cannot rule out the possibility that Google may use servers in the USA in this process.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in optimising the functionality of our website.
Through the connection to Google established in this way, Google can determine from which website your request was sent and to which IP address the directions are to be transmitted.
If you do not agree to this processing, you have the option of preventing the installation of cookies through the corresponding settings in your internet browser. You can find further details on this above under “Cookies”.
In addition, the use of Google Maps and the information obtained via Google Maps is governed by the Google Terms of Use https://policies.google.com/terms?gl=DE&hl=de and the Terms and Conditions for Google Maps https://www.google.com/intl/de_de/help/terms_maps.html.
